At Firepot Finance, we're driven by the vision of revolutionizing the crypto landscape, prioritizing accessibility for newcomers. Through our application, we're dedicated to implementing a seamless design interface, providing an intuitive entry into the complex realm of cryptocurrency. This experience is further enhanced by the integration of an AI copilot assistant, which offers help whenever it's required.
First Prototype
Initially, there was a concept and visual references for the application that the owner was particularly fond of and wished to integrate. Considering this, along with extensive research on popular financial and cryptocurrency applications, I began compiling information and functionalities to ensure a user-friendly and seamless experience for newcomers in the crypto sphere.
Beginning with the most straightforward features the app would require, we gradually expanded upon them. We curated content designed to be easily comprehensible for users, stripping away the unnecessary complexities often associated with the world of cryptocurrency.
Additional Crypto Features
After the initial prototype, we engaged in a process of reiteration, introducing additional components inherent to a crypto platform, such as investment options, pools, and staking. These new features brought forth complexities in terms of the user interface, necessitating thorough refinement to ensure users could navigate the experience seamlessly.
To maintain clarity, we opted for a traditional user interface to showcase the primary features of the application, minimizing confusion. For users interested in more in-depth crypto-related information, we implemented toggles to reveal or conceal these details.
Furthermore, we integrated profile identification questions and assessed investment risks. Collaborating closely with the development team, our aim was to create a feature that could offer tailored recommendations based on individual profiles, enhancing the overall user experience.
Ember your AI Assistant
Upon the inception of Ember, we embarked on an extensive reiteration of both the application and design system to seamlessly incorporate this innovative feature. The introduction of the new AI component aimed to streamline management processes and provide clearer insights, particularly beneficial for newcomers entering the platform. Simultaneously, it introduced a novel dimension for those already familiar with the crypto landscape.
This transformation prompted a series of interface adjustments, meticulously tailored to integrate the Copilot. Given its multifaceted capabilities in assisting users, several elements within the interface underwent refinement to ensure a harmonious interaction between the AI and the user, enhancing the overall usability of the application.
Following One Style
Throughout the project's evolution, a distinct design style was cultivated to align with the overarching narrative. As the project dynamics shifted, this design system underwent substantial growth and expansion. This expansion was driven by the imperative to encompass all the elements essential for the eventual development of a desktop application. This strategic augmentation ensured that the design system remained not only comprehensive but also adaptable to the evolving needs of the project.
